Most athletes have weak glutes and tight hip flexors that hold them back from being faster or jumping higher, so how do you work on both at the same time?

Alternate glute activatio exercises with hip flexor stretches. Try doing sets of 30 glute bridges, supersetted with 30 seconds of standard hip-flexor stretching for 3-5 sets, 3-4x per week (either before, after or during workouts).
