Instant Improvement Tip Of The Week: 3/29 – The Lymph Trick

By Alex On March 29, 2011 Under The INSTANT Improvement Tip of the Week

Your lymphatic system is really important for you immune system overall (and in turn, your RECOVERY), but…the lymph system depends on movement (and to a lesser degree, gravity) for it’s own movement.

To put it simply: If you’re not moving, neither is your lymph system.

So, a great way to jumpstart your lymph system (and overall recovery) each day is to do something active for 3-5 minutes when you first wake up each morning.

By doing it in the morning, you’ll set the tone for the rest of the day and really rev up your recovery.

As for what activity, I actually prefer something awesome: a rebounder (or mini-trampoline). I just jump on mine for a few minutes every morning. If you’re not quite as fortunate to have a trampoline in your living room, try jumping rope, jumping jacks or running in place for a few minutes instead.

Lymph on.
