Using Bodyweight Strength Training ANYWHERE, ANYTIME

So some interesting things went down during my home visit this past weekend. I don’t often share info about my personal life, but I’ll make an exception for you today. Check it out below:

This is Workout 2 from Week 2 of The 4-Week Bodyweight Boost Below..

 

NOTE: If it says A1 and A2, that means it’s a superset and you alternate sets between the two exercises.

All supersets are done for 3 sets total. Take 1-2 minutes rest between supersets. Rest as little as possible between actual sets.

Start With This Sample Dynamic Warm-Up:

Isometric Deep Lunge x 30 seconds each leg
Walking Lunges x 10 reps (each leg)
Side Lunges x 8 reps (each leg)
Jog x 30 Yards
Sideways Running x 20 yards (each way)
Walking Cradles x 8 reps (each leg)
Jumping Jacks x 30
Sprint in place x 10 seconds

Shake all that warm-up goodness out and get started with your 4-Week Bodyweight Boost Workout below.

Workout 2 From Week 2 of “The 4-Week Bodyweight Boost”


A1. Pogo Jumps x 25 Jumps
A2. Isometric Pushup Holds x 70 Seconds (take however many breaks you need intra-set, but make sure you reach a total of 70 seconds)

B1. Step-Ups with opposite leg thrust x 15 reps (each leg)
B2. Drop Lunge x 10-15 reps (each leg)

C1. Pike Pushups x 12-15 reps
C2. Side Planks x 35 seconds (each side)

D. Running Backwards 6 x 40 Yards (with walkback recoveries, which means after you’ve run backwards for 40 yards, you walk back to the starting point and immediately go again. Also, go about 85-90% of your top “backwards speed” for these)
