A List of 7 Cool Things…

By Alex On November 12, 2009 Under Sports Training

After a long-break from the blog, I figured it was time to start cranking again…here we go:

1. I find that no matter what I do or who I meet, I’m always learning. I try to stay focused on always having an open mind and being *positive* and I find that valuable lessons seem to keep coming my way. You gotta love learning, right?

2. How many people do you know who are overweight (read: fat) and are always trying to lose the weight and get a hot six-pack? Lots, of course.

And how many of them do you see actually reach the point where they’d ever catch eyes on the beach? Almost never.

So, what’s the lesson there?

What they’re doing is obviously NOT working, so they need to TRY something else.

There once was a kinda smart dude name Albert Einstein who said that INSANITY is, “…doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

And from what I understand, he was talking about over-weight people and six-packs when he said that.

3. After eating one every single day the last 6 weeks, there’s no doubt about it: burritos are my favorite food (the guy’s at Pancheros are now my new 2nd and 3rd best friends…good for them).

Seriously, there’s nothing like chicken, rice, black beans, pico de gallo and guacamole in a steaming-hot tortilla. Will someone email my famous overworked assistant Austin and tell him to change the favorite food part section in the My Story section of Game Speed Insider?

4. Muscle is really, really cool. Top 3 reasons why:

1. It makes you faster.

2. It helps burn more calories when you’re not doing anything.

3. There’s a rumor that if you leave it in the freezer overnight, it will transform into solid gold. I can’t make any guarantees here…just a rumor.

5. Lean Hybrid Muscle just came out TODAY. Now, you probably already know my relationship with the guys who put it together (they are my DAWGS).

I’ve seen first-hand what their innovative type of training can do for anyone (or athlete) who needs to quickly either add more muscle, or drop unnnecessary fat…and I’ve also had exclusive access to Lean Hybrid Muscle since last week, and I’ll be honest, it’s pretty freaking killer.

And ON TOP of that, it’s massively discounted at 50% Off for the next 72-hours (I guess as a way to celebrate it’s release).

Grab a copy here and now:

6. I just googled “the funniest joke ever”. This is the first one that came up… apparently Google is really slacking:

A duck walks into a drugstore and asks for a tube of ChapStick. The cashier says to the duck, “That’ll be $1.49.”
The duck replies, “Put it on my bill!”

7. My good buddy and one of the co-creators of Lean Hybrid, Elliott Hulse, just wrote this note specifically ONLY for Game Speed Insider VIP Subscribers (yup, that’s you!).

I asked him to tell you guys why you need Lean Hybrid Muscle, not why you want it, since I figured that’s kind of a given (they have like 30,000 people or something who want it and have been patiently waiting on a waiting list, LOL).

Here’s what he said:

“It never ceases to amaze me how many sports and
strength coaches fail to recognize the hybrid or
integrated capacity that most athletes must express
in order to perform at an extremely high level.

Practically ALL sports require multiple strength
and physiological qualities to become highly evolved
and fully functioning.

It’s not good enough for athletes to simply be quick
in the absence of strength and it of little value for
most sports participants to be strong, but slow and
lumbering.

As such, it is essential that athlete’s training programs
include exercises and parameter that develop multiple
systems at the same time.  Such a “hybrid” training
program would advance the nervous, muscular and
cardiovascular systems in a synergistic manner.

That’s why all you bad-ass athletes need Lean Hybrid
Muscle — haha!”

LOL…Elliott Hulse…good dude.

Talk to you soon,

P.S. I didn’t mention anything about JumpUSA’s brand-new cutting-edge piece of equipment The Squat Flex because, well, I figured you already knew about it (kind of a big deal in the industry right now) and because there are still some pieces left (they started at 500 total, don’t know where they’re at now).

But I should tell you that you are going to be hearing from me about it soon, mainly because:

1. I’ve been talking closely with the guy who created it (same guy who invented the Strength Shoe…sort of a “Vertical Jump Genius”) and I’m really feeling it, this thing is totally awesome and incredible and I have a very good feeling it will work for anyone who wants to simply jump higher.

No gimmicks, no nonsense, no confusion…you just use it, get to 12 bands and you’re dunking. Period (they even offer all your money back if you’re not dunking at 12 bands).

I pretty much firmly believe that if you can afford one and want to jump higher and be all-around more explosive, you should treat yourself to it. Which leads me to…

2. I know a lot of people are going to be on the fence on this one, since the Squat Flex isn’t exactly “free”, or even cheap. That’s why I’m going to increase the VALUE of the whole thing by adding in TONS of my own bonuses for anyone who decides to get it (for all of the people who already have, no worries, you’ll be getting it all too).

And I gotta tell you, I have never given away this kind of value before…I’ll announce some of it tomorrow, but you’re going to go friggin’ nuts. It should just go to show you how much I believe in this thing. I really, really like it.

You can check out the website for the Squat Flex here if you want, but just know, there is a lot more to come really soon…this is exciting:

The Squat Flex <—wow.

Alex, I must say on behalf on Panchero’s that we are honored to have made the top 12 list. Six weeks straight of burritos, huh? that’s rather impressive, I don’t think I’ve consumed that many burritos during my entire time with Panchero’s. Kudos to you.
Thanks for the shoutout!

Hey i got a question for you. That squat flex machine looks great because i want to dunk really badly and everything. However, I was thinking, why spend $300 on a machine with elastic bands when you could be doing the exercise with a weight bar and get the exact same results. I mean, yuo can just increase the weight everytime right? Please reply, I’m interested in the exercise. Thanks.

Hey Marc. There’s many advantages of the squat flex. The most prominent are that it’s easy to use, you don’t have to go to a gym to use it, it’s extremely straightforward, and you don’t jeopardize your health by squatting heavy weights in a gym on your back, while the squat flex carries no risk if you don’t misuse it. There are many others, but these are just a few. Marketers as usual have to make a product a bit pricey, but when you consider the benefits, as well as THE GUARANTEE, then there is no doubt that this product can offer immense benefits any person who’s willing to try it out. I’m going to buy the squat flex soon, anyhow.
